Single, in this context, is defined as a male or female that is unmarried. And the Single life is the life preceding the marriage life. This usually starts at the age of 18 years and above. The single life is an exciting phase of life, but a lot of times it’s never fully appreciated till it’s over. It is the time one develops oneself, get rid of bad habits and attitudes, develop one’s talents, gifts and positive attributes. But most single people spend time and effort trying to get delivered from singleness!

The Single stage is an importance stage; it’s the preparation stage of a person for the livelong relationship called Marriage. The excellent taste of every soup is determined by how it is prepared. In other words, the entire constituent put into it determines the well being of a Marriage. This preparation involves the physical, spiritual, emotional, material, financial, social, educational readiness to love the opposite sex and engage in a commitment for life; because Marriage is a unique relationship, having its root in divinity (Gen 2:22).

Hence, the Singles fellowship involves the gathering and teaching of the Singles the word of God and how it relates to Marriage; God’s design for the Marriage Institution to bring honour, pleasure, and satisfaction is explained thus preparing the Singles for a Godly Marriage.
